SULFURIC ACID

Sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄) is a colorless, oily liquid with a molecular weight of 98.08 and a specific gravity of 1.84. It is readily miscible with water, highly corrosive, highly toxic and is a strong oxidizing agent that will react with most organic compounds. It comes in different industrial grades depending on the strength of the aqueous solution. It is one of the most widely used chemicals.
