The photon or electromagnetic energy radiated by a body (or a medium).

Comments. 1. Here and in what follows the term "radiation" means a set of electromagnetic waves or photons.
2. We distinguish between "natural radiation," "incident radiation," "absorbed radiation," "reflected radiation," "effective radiation," "resultant radiation," and "transmitted radiation."
