FALLING FILM EVAPORATORS
The process of falling film evaporation is illustrated schematically in Figure 1. A liquid film falls down the channel wall and evaporates, with the vapor either flowing co-currently with the film [Figure 1 (a)] or countercurrent to it [Figure 1 (b)].
