Currently, he is an associate professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He has experience in Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis on Thermal Engineering, especially on radiative transfer in participant media and the application of reverse analysis in the design of thermal systems. He is a member of ABCM, having served as Secretary of the Thermal Sciences Committee, member of the Deliberative Council and Secretary of the South Regional. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering.
