Magnetic Reynolds number

A dimensionless number, defined by the identity

where κ and σ are the relative magnetic permeability and the specific electrical conductivity; ω0 is the characteristic velocity of the fluid; I0 is the characteristic dimension; and κ0 = 4Π · 10-7 H/m is the magnetic permeability of the vacuum.
